Founder of BizHack Academy
Dan is the Pulitzer Prize-winning former News Director for NPR Miami. He's an expert storyteller who worked as a business correspondent at NPR’s Marketplace and PBS’s Nightly Business Report. When the jobs in journalism started to fade away, Dan transitioned to digital marketing where he went on to be the head of marketing at a billion-dollar corporation and two software startups. Now his company, BizHack, provides professional training to help business owners find fast success with digital marketing.
Alex de Carvalho
Alex has been one of the most important figures in digital marketing in South Florida for two decades. He has worked for companies like Constant Contact and IBM and also served as the first Knight Foundation Innovator in Residence at FIU. He also co-founded Refresh Miami.
He has taught social media at the University of Miami, FIU, and MDC and co-authored “Securing the Clicks: Network Security in the Age of Social Media,” published by McGraw-Hill. Alex serves as the Honorary Consul of Finland in South Florida and is fluent in five languages.
Ricardo is the founder and CEO of MI Group, which provides technology and digital media solutions for businesses across the Caribbean, Central and South America looking to grow their operations in the US. He is a serial entrepreneur with 17 years of experience growing companies.
Blanca Stella Mejia
Blanca has worked for companies like IBM and Microsoft and has over 10 years of experience in digital strategy. She is also very involved with the Social Media community in South Florida and has spoken at various events on topics such as SEO, WordPress, and social media.
Erika has more than 15 years of experience in public relations, marketing and branding.
